Less than two years later, Polymarket's 2024 US election market passed $3 billion in reported volume, which is a multibillion-dollar splash. Even allowing for alleged wash trading (~30%), the volume stayed above $2 billion. The 'steady growth' part held, but the distinctive no-splash claim did not.
