Accurate Happened 29 June 2022.

Finland and Sweden applied together on 18 May 2022, and after Turkey dropped its objection on 28 June, the Madrid summit formally invited both to join (29 June). Full accession came later (Finland 2023, Sweden 2024), but the approval at Madrid happened as predicted.
